Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard Co. and Kawartha F.E.S.T. have been selected by Water Ski & Wakeboard Canada to host the 2009 Canadian Wakeboard Championships. Now celebrating its fourth year, our annual event has become the area's premier wakeboard and summer event. Beavermead Park on Little Lake in Peterborough will be the event site for this year’s Canadian Wakeboard Championships. This is one of the best wakeboard event sites in Ontario. Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard Co. has partnered with Kawartha Fest, not-for-profit events production to bring Peterborough and the Kawartha's only event of its kind. Beer Garden
This licensed area is for spectators 19+. Proper ID is required. See the wakeboard action from the Beer Garden
Live Music Stage
Entertainment will be provided throughout the weekend from local and Canadian bands including: TBA.
Beach Winch
The area’s first of its kind, Pro Beach Rail Park. Pro riders will compete in best trick format in wakeboard and wakeskate divisions.
FMX Show
Adrenaline packed Freestyle Motocross shows, from Jason Thorne and his Pro FMX Team.
KLWC Boarder Village
The boarder village will showcase KLWC’s 2009 products, including wakeboards, wakeskates, DVDs, accessories and the latest summer apparel. The Village will also include industry and local exhibitors.
Kawartha F.E.S.T. Food Court
Local community club’s and food vendors will be cooking a variety of menu items all weekend to feed those hungry spectators.
After Parties & Swimsuit Contest
Various after-parties and socials will be hosted at Peterborough Bars and Hotspots.
