KLWC Visits Florida
January 2006

I spent my first two weeks in January in the sunny south.  After Christmas I headed down to Floirda for vacation where I was able to check out the famous OWC cable park, (Orlando Watersports Complex).  After going to Disney World and Universal Studios, I headed over to OWC.  This was my first time checking out the place so I was quite impressed.  I got my pass, and strapped on my gear, then proceeded to take a practice run on the intermediate cable run.  Of coarse I fell on my first run and at the furthest point from the start dock.  I walked back and headed right over to the slider park.  I spent the rest of the day hitting sliders and kickers and basically killing my body.  It had been like 4 months since I rode so I was pretty much dead for the next 2 or 3 days.  Check out the pics from the day. PICTURESI would recommend checking out OWC if you have the chance to go to Florida.

Later that week I was able to visit Gator Boards headquarters in Ft. Myeres, Florida.  After meeting with the reps I took a tour of the warehouse and checked out the 2006 products.  Gator has some sick stuff this year and I am glad to be once again be the biggest Gator Boards dealer in Ontario and Canada.  All the new boards are awesome and they have constructed a sick team for this year.  Watch for their pattened "G-FLow" board and new "Duece Pop" bi-level wakeskate.  All the new Gator gear will be available soon from KLWC.

Check out the PICTURES of the warehouse tour, as well as check out Gator's website to see the 2006 cateloug.

March 26, 2005 – KLWC Team Gets an Early Start to the Season

Ambitious members of the Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard Company Team embarked on an adventure to Keene Ontario this weekend to get their first taste of the wakeboard, wakeskate season. After discovering a spring run off ditch on a country road outside of Peterborough Ontario, selected members of the team braved the ice-cold waters and cool spring air. Using an ATV and a shortened towrope, team members Brad Conlin, Sean Bush and Matt Moore threw down some awesome runs on their wakeskates in the four-foot wide by 300-foot long ditch. The day was an unexpected success and has pumped the KLWC Team up for an awesome season to come. So here is to summer days and warmer waters. The team would like to thank Nate Ahee for his video work and Tom for his ATVs.
