KLWC Team Members show strong results at Wakestock 2006

Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard Co. Team riders finished well at this years Wakestock on Toronto Island. KLWC's Mike Maynard finished third (3rd) with a 76.67 in the finals of his division taking home the Bronze. Josh Eccles advanced to the finals where he placed fourth (4th) landing his signiture HS Tantrum, Swith Tantrum, HS3, TS3, Backroll, TS5, and just sketched out on his Front Roll. Also riding a personal best was Team Rider Mark Norris, placing third in a high scoring heat in his qualifier. In Wakeskate, VInce Whiteman also placed third in his qualifing heat.
Congrats Guys!

KLWC Team Members make Podium at Rock the Wake

Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard Co. Team riders finished well at this past weekends Rock the Wake held at Head Lake in Haliburton ON. KLWC's Outlaw Member Mike Maynard finished second (2nd) in his division. Also taking home the silver (2nd) was Jade Eccles KLWC's female representative. In Wakeskate, VInce Whiteman placed fourth (4th)in the winch pool, landing a BS Boardslide, FS Shuv Out, and a BS Barslide to 270 Out. Josh Eccles placed fifth (5th) in his division capping off a great KLWC representation at Rock the Wake. Congrats Guys! and Gal.
Next stop is Wakestock. Make sure to come out and see the KLWC Team in action and check out the Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard Co. Tent at Wakestock, Toronto Islands, August 10-13.

Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard OPEN 2006

The Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard OPEN is shaping up to be one of this season's must attend wakeboard competitions and events in Ontario. KLWC has teamed up with Hastings Marine and Session Wakeboard Boats to bring you the wakeboard action. This year's competition will showcase top riders and amatures alike from all over Ontario. See members of the KLWC Team, KGB Crew, Evil-Wake Boys, Team Fun and many other Outlaw riders battle defending Kawartha Champion, Jordan Lavery for top spot as the 2006 Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard Champion. Wakeskaters like KLWC's own Vince Whiteman will have to challenge defending '05 Kawartha Lakes Wakeskate Champ, Matt Sacchitillo for the title. New this year is the Outlaw Slider Competition brought to you by KLWC, Sessions and Protec Helmets. Prior to the event area crews and teams will gather to design the areas first of its kind rail set up, including a start pool. Check back for more information as it becomes available

Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard Co. Rocks the Cottage Life Show

The last weekend of March officially marked the start of the season for Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard Co. as they represented at the Cottage Life Show in Toronto. Joining us was Christopher Guard of Gator Boards Canada, along with his packed truck of 07' GB Gear. Tonnes of people stopped by the KLWC booth and were able to check out all the new gear. Summer is around the bend and KLWC is super stoked for what's to come. Thanks again to Chris, J-Bubbs, & Debbie for helping with the both.
Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard Co. Teams up with Monster Energy

Kawartha Lakes Wakeboard Co. is happy to announce they have teamed up with Monster Energy for Summer 07. Be prepared to see Monster represented in all KLWC's divisions. The KLWC Pro Shop will be stocked with the whole Monster Energy Lineup, as well look for KLWC and Monster to be handing out samples at special events, in our school and at our camps. Keep an eye out for the KLWC Team this summer, as they all will be rocking Monster Energy

Throw it down launches our female wakeboarding site; invented, designed, and written by female wakeboarders. We are super stoked about it!
The news feed will keep you up to date on everything that is going on in the wakeboard season and off-season, in Ontario, Canada and around the world.
Our goal is to unite and encourage all females from beginners to destroyers. We are here for girls who are interested in trying wakeboarding for the first time, or thinking about taking their boarding to the next level and entering the competitive circuit and even for the circuit veterans who are trying to get recognized by both sponsors and media. Either way? welcome! To all girls ready to throw it down!
